According to the IRS, Mr. Henry had back taxes upto $30,000. The IRS was collecting $400 a month from his SSA pension check which did not cover the monthly interest charges, so every month the balance owed was increasing. Mr. Henry contacted Joseph for help. After looking at the 25 years old case, Joseph was able to find the problem. Mr. Henry wanted to settle for $5,000. Joseph was able to get Henry to pay nothing, and additionally, he recovered $17,789 from the IRS for the client. Mr. Henry was happy with almost $18,000 on his bank account and no back taxes pending.
